Jesse Adams Jr., one of Southern California’s contemporary jazz and R&B saxophonist. He is noted as a top performer on Gigsalad, a music internet outlet for live performances. He’s currently working on an upcoming CD while attending Musician Institution (MI). The CD is filled with a fusion of funk, gospel and jazz. His sound on the saxophone has
smooth lyrical phrases with warm jazzy chord progression with a funky beat. Jesse also performs live as a saxophone vocalist duo at various wineries across Southern California. Some of his biggest influences are Grover Washington Jr., Kirk Whalum and Boney James.
As a native of Texas, he released his first CD in San Antonio Texas in 2010. He studied music at Texas Southern University and became a member of the Phi Mu Alpha Fraternity, with Kirk Whalum as his Pledge Father. Jesse’s motto is “Do what you Love, Love what you Do.”
To sum things up, Jesse is destined for success with his new CD that will soon be released and while studying at one of the best music institutions (MI). With the support of his family and friends, his mission is pursued to be successful.
